H-hey! Where do you think you're going?
Wooo, almost done this for all my characters now. Spoilers for Guy's backstory abound!

[scene: one (1) deaged Guy, fast asleep on a bed that really isn't meant to hold two people. it was doing well enough when it was one teenager and an eleven-year-old, but now...]
OKAY SO. PSA.
In an effort to not drop Guy, which is something I've seriously been considering, I'm changing where I took him from in canon. Previously I had him coming from right after the Tower of Rem, but that is causing massive emo and he's really not that fun to play when he's miserable. SO. Instead, he's coming from after the ending. :Db

About Auldrant
Second satellite of the star Rem. Has one satellite, Luna.
Rotation period: 24 hours
Orbital period: 765 days
...so, uh, a year on Auldrant is nearly two Earth years. Yes, that does mean that Abyss characters are technically twice as old as their given ages claim.
Months: Rem Decan, Sylph Decan, Undine Decan, Gnome Decan, Ifrit Decan, Shadow Decan, Shadow Redecan, Ifrit Redecan, Gnome Redecan, Undine Redecan, Sylph Redecan, Luna Redecan, Lorelei Decan.
Days of the week: Remday, Lunaday, Ifritday, Undineday, Sylphday, Loreleiday, Gnomeday.
It's implied that the calendar is set up so that a certain day of the month always falls on the same day of the week, no matter what the year is. So, for example (this is no doubt wrong), the twenty-first day of Rem Decan would always be Sylphday.
Also, fonons!
First Fonon is dark (Shadow)
Second is Earth (Gnome)
Third is Wind (Sylph)
Fourth is Water (Undine)
Fifth is Fire (Efreet)
Sixth is Light (Rem)
Seventh is Sound (Lorelei)

- Mood:
blank
Age: 21
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 174 lbs
Medical Info: Nothing of note.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blond. It's not naturally spiky, he just styles it that way.
Physical Traits: He's a pretty normal guyexcept that he wears tights. Most notable is his reaction to women. It's not that he doesn't like them--in fact he's quite insistent at certain points in the game that, no rly, he loves women--but he does have a severe physical reaction to them coming too close, or worse yet, touching him. It's not something he can control, as it is a very real phobia rooted in events from his past, and he's not exactly happy about it either. At the point of the game I'm taking him from, he's getting better about it due to a certain series of events. If circumstances require it--say, if a girl is in danger and he has to carry her--he can probably manage. But still, if anyone female tries to touch him? He'll freak.
Abilities: Guy is an extremely skilled swordsman. He fights in a very distinctive style that's most notable for the fact that it doesn't make use of a shield--instead, the sheath is held in the free hand and used to block. His abilities include various arcane artes, which cause elemental damage as well. On the non-combat side of things, he's extremely skilled with all sorts of machines, and according to one of the game's skits, is apparently something of an artist.
Notes for the Psychics: Guy at first seems to be very straightforward. In general he's an honest person--he'd rather be vague or not tell the whole truth than outright lie. Luke's usually at the forefront of his thoughts, as seven years of being dedicated to and worrying about someone will, y'know, do that. But there's a lot more to him than first meets the eye. Go far enough, and you'll find that there was a seriously traumatic event in his past, which is connected the whole women thing. The details are a giant spoiler. :Db
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: Sure, go for it. Running it by me is always nice, though.
Maim/Murder/Death: If I throw him in a boss battle, I'm expecting there to be consequences. But usually nothing too serious. Soooo... talk to me? I don't think this'll be an issue, but.
Hugging/Kissing/Etc: Oh god, go for it. Even if you're a girl. Especially if you're a girl. I'll laugh.
Cooking: ...does anyone know what this question means? I-In any case, he's actually a pretty good cook, at least by the party's standards, to the point where they declare him the perfect "house-husband."

Character: Guy Cecil
Series: Tales of the Abyss
Age: 21
Canon: The latest installment in Namco’s Tales series, Tales of the Abyss loves its music. On the planet Auldrant, all things are composed of not only atoms but fonons--particles of sound. As though that’s not enough, everywhere, people follow the Score, a prophecy that plots out everything from day-to-day events to the future of the planet itself. The story begins with a boy named Luke Fon Fabre, who plays a very important role in the Score...
Guy Cecil is a servant in the Fabre Manor. After Luke lost his memory seven years ago, Guy was charged with more or less raising him. His easygoing nature and common sense makes him the perfect babysitter for the more volatile Luke. He’s also popular with the ladies due to his natural charm. Unfortunately, due to an incident in his past, he’s absolutely terrified of women touching him and usually reacts to it with flailing and an attempt to hide behind the nearest male.
Note: Rappigs are a species of animal on Auldrant--as their name would suggest, they’re a combination of pigs and rabbits.
Sample Post:
One of these days I’m going to say no. His Majesty is going say "Oh my, it seems the rappigs have gotten out again, could you please be a dear and drop everything to search for them?" and I’ll say no, I’m already busy.
Today... isn’t that day.
Okay, Guy, look on the bright side. You may be lost in a swamp on a ridiculous errand, but at least it’s a nice day out. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and there are-- there are squirrels pointing swords at you. Okay. Maybe the bright side isn’t as bright as I thought. Look, could we talk about this? No? Well, you asked for it.
...
...even the items the enemies drop here are strange. I was expecting an Apple Gel, maybe a Lemon Gel if I was lucky, but KY Gel? What’s that supposed to do? "For use as a personal"-- you know what, I don’t want to know why those squirrels were carrying that. Instead-- oh, good, people.
I hate to bother you lovely ladies when you’re so obviously enjoying your picnic, but I don’t suppose you’ve seen a small herd of rappigs go by? There should be about five of them, with expensive-looking collars-- no, you don’t have to get up, I’m fine with looking for them myself. R-really, if you could maybe stay about five paces away that would be just great and-- AUUUUGH MISS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE YOUR HANDS--oh god i didn’t mean literally--AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU!
T-thank you. If it’s okay with you, I’ll just. Go and take my chances with. With the monsters over there. And maybe pass out later. Y-yeah. So. Monsters. Normally I wouldn’t be one to talk to monsters, especially big purple ones, but hey, you look like a fairly intelligent bunch, judging from the uniforms and all. Have you seen any rappigs recently?
...I said "rappigs," not "rapings."
